I never signed up for this either. I mean mothering. Or my version: S’Mothering.
Unlike many women, being a mother wasn’t always part of my plan.
I still find that hard to believe. Because of how it turned out.
Being a mother defines me. Deep down. It’s really what I’m all about. Just a few examples:
After becoming a writer, artist, TV journalist, mother and breast cancer survivor----I realize nothing turns out the way we expect. So I blog about handling the big and little things — with humor, humanity, and hope.
