Boobalas: Thinking Outside the Bra

For someone who likes to think outside the box, the end of Breast Awareness month seems like the perfect time to begin—-with  this giveaway to celebrate the launch of Boobalas.

It makes sense because Breast Awareness represents more than a month of pink ribbons.  To me, breast awareness is as complicated as breast cancer itself.

Our relationship with our breasts is also complicated.  They’re magnets for men; nourishment for our children, and sometimes our worst enemy.

My breasts turned traitor—when cancer invaded one of them.  To save my life, I cut them off. This left me with a new perspective on life, and a unique perspective on breasts.

Maybe it takes someone  who doesn’t wear one anymore –to think “outside the bra”– to use my experiences to create a unique spin on what we call Breast Awareness.

I call Boobalas  “putting the zest in the breast”—combining a little imagination… irreverence…. and inspiration.

50% of all profits from Boobalas will go to cancer causes.  But the message behind Boobalas goes beyond cancer—and applies to all women: that our breasts and our bodies don’t define who we are.

To celebrate the launch, I’m giving away  two $50 Amazon gift certificates.

Just look through the gallery (don’t miss the second page) and tell me the name of your favorite Booobala. (I’d also love to know why, but that’s not required to enter)

To enter, do any/or all of the following:

1.  Leave a comment choosing your favorite Boobala from the gallery.

2. Post a link on your Facebook page, and let me know in a comment

3. Tweet a link, and let me know in a comment

4. Join my brand-new Facebook page and let me know in a comment.

Each of the above will add another entry.

Two winners will be chosen by Random.co and notified on November 1.

On that date, Breast cancer Awareness month will be officially over…. Around here, breast awareness is just beginning.

Love “The Glass Slipper” , my husbands aunt just passed away last week of breast cancer. My grandson was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor at the age of 11months last year. He’s tumor free right now and has to have MRIs done every 3 months. I also lost my dad to cancer 12 years ago. Cancer sucks.
