confessions of a cluttered mind

After becoming a writer, artist, TV journalist, mother and breast cancer survivor----I realize nothing turns out the way we expect. So I blog about handling the big and little things — with humor, humanity, and hope.
The knobs say it all: Susan is the super-hero inside every woman. Made of ceramic knobs, hand–painted tiles, on a painted background. Measures 12″ X 12″ .
It's the combination, of course. And the locks will open for the right person---(to be revealed on the back when you take her home.) Made of combination locks and hand-painted tiles on a painted background. Measures 14" by 14".
Pun intended. A nice pair---of pears...made of miniature porcelain boxes, surrounded by painted tiles and broken china on a painted background. Measures 11" square.
Hope: not only on her driver’s license, but in her heart. Ceramic ribbon, hand-painted tiles on a painted background, measures 9 inches square.
Word surrounded by hand-painted tiles in bright and beautiful (gold and marine blue) colors, with border of tiny gold tiles. Measures 11" square.
True beauty lies in the imperfections. Irregular mirror surrounded by hand-painted tiles with a border of ceramic tiles. Measures 11" square.

60?
No Effing way.
I want to look like you when I’m 60.
You have a youthful glow that belies the fact that you have reached the big 6-0. It is obvious from your face and your blog that you are delighted to be alive and well @ 60. I have a feeling that it is not just the chocolate cake. Happy, Happy B’Day.
Hey Maureen, that’s exactly what I said: 60? No effing way!
Ron–you’re exactly right too. And it’s not ALL about the cake. Although it does help.
I don’t know whether to love you or hate you – you look so damn good for such an old age LOL!! I am officially eating MORE chocolate starting today.
Happy birthday!!! I hope it was a great one.
I cannot believe that you are 60! What a surprise. Your thick hair, glowing skin, beautiful smile are so youthful. Happy Birthday to you! You have been so kind by sending me a diamond vintage ring and a black top from Paris; my mother cherishes her ring, and I adore my black top. You are such a generous, compassionate, and kind person. You deserve to be surrounded by those who cherish and love you, especially on your special day.

It’s a special treat to hear from you,Brenda– about the Cluttercast items—I hope you’re doing well.
Thank you –for the compliments—far too embarrassed to comment.
Just because it’s your birthday, do not get the idea that you can abandon your readers. Unless, of course, you are in some sort of chocolate overload and your body is in shock mode. In that case, you are excused.
