Aspen takes your breath away, and it’s not the altitude. It’s the majesty of the Rocky Mountains.

A couple hours after I arrive, Carla, Paul and I are stretched out on a blanket enjoying a picnic and fine wine.

We’re joining other music lovers for a free concert.

It’s magical. Gazing at the sky through the shimmering silver leaves, stress slips away.

The mood and the music even has the same calming effect on the dogs.
