I found the More.com article referenced in today&#039;s installment worth the time to read, not only because of the insights into Darryle&#039;s life but also for the habits of mind it promotes. Someone wrote a song about getting our solution to every problem from &quot;men in white lab coats&quot; because, like Doctor Science, they know more than we do. The reality is that they entertain fewer doubts than many of us do, not an altogether healthy state of mind. (Is the world a better place to live with &quot;nuclear deterrence&quot;, genetic engineering, and 24x7 cable news?).</description>
