A friend came by today to take a picture of me holding a sign. It’s a surprise—so I can’t say what the sign said, or what it’s for. But it involves a happy occasion and lots of love. As I held the sign I couldn’t help thinking of other people holding signs– NOT for a happy reason– in this video sent by my daughter Alli.
It made me cry. And after you see it, I hope you’ll want to click on this link and sign your name –to help prevent Ken Starr (yes, THAT Ken Starr) from trying to take away the rights of people to stay married to the person they love.

Made me cry too, but I’m easy that way.
Signed and forwarded, though I don’t think the Supreme Court is meant to act on public opinion, including petitions. It is meant to act on Constitutionality.
Our previous President may have effects that long outlast him. But maybe not. I still believe in due process.
Thanks. I think every vote counts, even if only towards public opinion. Even overseas, you’re probably far more savvy than I am about the legal process.
I still can’t get past the idea that we have to hear about Ken Starr again.
Ken Starr needs to spend more time with his family, if he has one. Then, again, maybe they voted him “off the island,” which could explain why he is the way he is.
